Analyst Program

Overview

Gleacher & Company offers an investment banking Analyst Training Program for individuals upon graduation from college.  The program is two years in length, with the potential for a third year for exceptional Analysts.  Analysts begin in July following graduation and participate in an intensive training program taught by Gleacher & Company bankers from various product groups and industry sectors.  Analysts are then placed into one of three product areas: Mergers & Acquisitions, Restructuring & Recapitalization or Capital Markets Origination.

At Gleacher & Company, Analysts are not placed into industry groups, but rather have the opportunity to work on engagements in a variety of industry sectors.  In addition, Analysts often have the opportunity to work on engagements with colleagues in other products areas.  For example, an Analyst in the M&A group might work on a divestiture of a restructuring client or an Analyst in the Restructuring group might work with the Capital Markets group on a refinancing.

In addition to exposure to world-class investment banking, Gleacher & Company maintains an exceptional record of placing its Analysts upon completion of the Analyst Training Program.

Gleacher & Company has helped place its Analysts at many of the top business schools, private equity firms and hedge funds, among others, following the two-year program.
